The National Scouting Museum in Irving, Texas is closing permanently at 5 PM on Sunday, September 3, 2017.
A new Scouting Museum will be opening at Philmont in May 2018. Please go to this website for more information about the new Museum.

Norman Rockwell

Did you know that working for the Boy Scouts of America was Rockwell’s first job as an artist? The National Scouting Museum has the largest Scouting-related Rockwell collection in the world. The collection includes 48 original Rockwell paintings as well as 11 studies and drawings.

Joseph Csatari

Joseph Csatari is considered Norman Rockwell's successor as the official artist for the Boy Scouts. Like Rockwell, Csatari completed Boy Scout calendar illustrations and covers for The Saturday Evening Post and Boys' Life magazine. His involvement with the Boy Scouts of America has been one of length and dedication.
